Candide @ Oberlin

Opening Wed 3/17 @ 8PM

Travel around the world in two hours via Candide, a “blisteringly funny” opera that follows four sheltered youth as they venture into the world. Of course, disasters ensue, prompting the travelers to return home w/ a new philosophy. Candide is an operetta in two acts by Leonard Bernstein, with a libretto by Hugh Wheeler after Voltaire and opens on Wed 3/17 at 8PM. Runs through Sun 3/21 @ Hall Auditorium at Oberlin College.
