Cloud 9 uses gender-bending performances and satire to examine relationships, sex, power and politics. The repressive Victorian era is the setting in this inventive play where characters find themselves wanting people they cannot have. As times change and society sheds its formalities, will they be free to explore their true desires and, ultimately, find happiness?
