Lukas Ligeti = pure imagination and energy. As the son of famed Hungarian composer Gyorgy Ligeti, Lukas has created a style that’s all his own–mixing NY experimentalism, contempo classical music, jazz, electronica and world music. Call him a musical bouillabaisse. See him for no charge at MOCA Cle, 8501 Carnegie Ave, on Wed 3/31 at 7PM. Held in conjunction w/ MOCA’s Masterworks of Contemporary African-American Art exhibit.
