Alaskan Seabirds & the Rapidly Changing Arctic

Wed 4/7 @ 7:30PM

Cle-native Dr. George Divorky has spent 35 years studying Arctic seabirds (Black Guillemots) off northern Alaska. During this time, he’s witnesses warm-induced changes in snow that have affected marine birds and other wildlife. His annual observations provide evidence of the rapid rate of change occurring up north. Yikes. Hear about his research at the next KirtlandBirdClub mtg on Wed 4/7 at 7:30PM @ Cle Museum of Natural History.
