The Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) and the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland are teaming up in the fight against HIV/AIDS. ArtCares, a collaborative event, was “born out of the awareness of the devastating impact the AIDS epidemic has had on the world of art.” ArtCares provides an opportunity to bid on original artwork using a variety of media, w/ all proceeds going to the AIDS Taskforce of Grtr Cleveland.
The evening includes:
VIP Reception 6-7:30PM
Martini bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, exclusive auction preview and chance to purchase auction items at listed value.
Reception and Auction 7-10PM
Wine, beer and an array of delicious food.
Silent auction, raffle and live auction.
Silent Auction includes artwork by students from the Cleveland Institute of Art, many of whom will be present to discuss their work.
Live Auction includes works by distinguished artists from Northeast Ohio and beyond.
