Black Aspirations Week is back for its 37th year. This week-long event features, speakers, workshops, performances–all waiting to inspire you. Especially cool is Ask Your Mama: Twelve Moods for Jazz, a multi-media presentation based on a Langston Hughes poetic suite about the global fight for freedom, on Wed 4/21 at 7PM @ CSU’s Main Classroom Aud. Also: a homeless awareness sleep-out, community dinner and a black male “Leading By Example” awards ceremony.
