See Verb Ballets’ final performance of the 2009-2010 season on Fri 4/23 in Chagrin Falls. They’ll perform signature works by renowned choreographers plus the popular original piece Lady Be Good, a work rooted in the ballroom dance tradition.

The evening includes “Urban Study,” a contemporary ballet by Ginger Thatcher (Lars Lubovitch, Cleveland San Jose Ballet Company), the stirring solos “Lamentation” from dance legend Martha Graham, “Poverty Train” from Ernie Horvath, and Troy McCarty’s “Scent.” The evening rounds out with the elegant pas de deux “Le Corsaire,” and the super-charged “Speed.”
