Neighborhood arts festivals are the perfect excuse to explore parts of the city you’re unfamiliar with. On Sun 6/6, check out the down-to-earth Bellaire Puritas neighborhood on Cle’s west side while you attend the Bellaire Puritas Arts Festival. From 12 – 6PM, treat yourself to music, food, art and learn about community groups while kids make crafts and play in a giant sandbox. Tunes come courtesy of the Bluegrass Kings, Eclyptic (rock); Prayer Warriors (R&B, Motown, Gospel); Happy Timers (polka); Sammy DeLeon Latin Quintet, Canon School of Irish Dancers and John Marshall High School’s award-winning drill team.
Oh, and the theme this year is Jungle Safari.
