Tony Monaco @ Mike’s Barn

HOT Sun 5/30 @ 7PM

Have you heard about this place called Mike’s Barn just west of the Cleveland area? Michael Yates is a real Midwest character, straight out of a Mark Twain novel. While not exactly a musician himself, at least to my knowledge, Mike is best friends with virtually all the top blues musicians in the region. And he buys and sells Hammond organs on eBay. Now, these are big organs, and Mike has a lot of them, maybe two dozen. And some of them have huge spinning Leslie speakers and foot pedal boards. So he needs a place to store them, so he rents this barn out on the road to Oberlin and builds a stage and a PA and puts in  a bar-b-que pit, and starts inviting all his musician friends to come out and play on Sunday nights, cause that’s the night most musicians don’t have a paying gig. So this Sunday, May 30th from 7 to 11, pretend you’re a musician and come out to Mike’s Barn to hear “Master Chops T – Tony Monaco” on the organ, with Master bassist Doug Johns opening the show.
