Talk about giving back: Dante restaurant, that Tremont hotspot, has made a hefty commitment to serving the homeless population. Once a month, for a year, Dante will cook nutritious, fresh meals for the men staying at Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry’s 2100 Lakeside Men’s Shelter. Over 200 meals will be delivered to the men on the first Sat of the month. We’ll take a wild guess and say this food will blow the shelter’s food outta the water.

You know, I’ve had lunch at 2100 a number of times, and the food there was quite good (WAY better than what I cook, anyway!). I appreciate the efforts and contribution that Dante will be making, but I don’t think you should diss the culinary magic of “Bear” and his crew at 2100. They work really hard and come up with some amazing things, given the very limited budget and resources they have to work with. In fact, I’d say a throwdown was in order! 🙂
Love your site, Tom!
