When Taw’s Pro Dum Shop decided to celebrate with their 2nd Annual Music Fest on Sun 8/15/10, they pulled out all the stops, showcasing the work of the students of drum instructors Val Kent and Ray Porello, plus a special appearance by jazz vocalist Helen Welch.
This video, shot at their new location in Avon, Ohio, shows how they are carrying on the traditions of founder Dudley Taw who has been producing custom drums and accessories since 1973. He studied with drum legends Gene Krupa, Ralph Pace and Bob McKee, and in 2005 decided to open his own drum shop in response to the lack of service and knowledge in the field of professional drums and percussion.
