Here’s a play we can all relate to: Foreclosed, a performance examining our foreclosure crisis from a variety of unique perspectives. This isn’t some boring, depressing commentary on Cleveland foreclosures. This is a multimedia performance delving into the many emotions involved in abandoning (being forced out of) your home. A must see.

Twenty-eight poems dramatized through words, music, movement, and multimedia images depicting voices of objects left behind in foreclosed homes. Karamu brings local poet/playwright Mary Weems’ and photographer RA Washington’s new, daring and innovative work about the foreclosure crisis within our local community and beyond, to the Jelliffe stage.
