In the mood for a good scare without the cheese factor? Join West Clinton Historic Haunts for family-friendly guided tours through the historic Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. Meet notable and notorious former residents and be enthralled with real life tales of “life, love, murder and mayhem” along the way.
Details:
Neighborhood residents with lanterns in their hands and facts and folklore in their heads lead tour groups through the Franklin-West Clinton Historical District. As they walk, they encounter actors from the Near West Theater performing historic and entertaining scenes in front yards and on porches. We hope you’ll learn about the good things happening in our neighborhood now and the interesting things that happened here way back when.
Spooky things are happening in the neighborhood on Fri 10/1 and Sat 10/2.
Tours depart from Parish Hall every 15 min starting at 6PM.
