Bayanihan, the National Dance Company of the Philippines, takes its name from an ancient Filipino tradition called bayanihan which means working together for a common good. Those involved in Bayanihan are considered to be national heroes and artists who reiterate through dance, music, percussion, dress and action, what is Filipino. The dancers are accompanied by live musicians, who share the stage with them as part of this extraordinary cultural event.
