Redesigning Wendy Park

Wendy Park is about to get a face-lift, of sorts. The park, located on Whiskey Island where the Cuyahoga River meets Lake Erie, has seen a dramatic increase in use over the past years. To balance increasing recreational use w/ the park’s natural resources, the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission has teamed up with ParkWorks, Currere, and landscape architecture firm CMG to redesign and complete a Management Plan for Wendy Park — and they need your help.

Watch a short video and take a quick survey about why you go to (or why you don’t go to) Wendy Park and what you’d like to see the park become in the future. Should it become a natural reserve like Dike 14? Should it be more of a recreational area a la Lakewood Park? Have a say.

Responses will be accepted until Tue 11/2.
