Taking Care of Business: The 2010 CPT/Y-Haven Theatre Project

Thu 11/4 – Sun 11/7

For the eleventh year in a row, the men at Y-Haven, YMCA’s transitional center for homeless men, have collaborated to create an original performance. This year, they bring you “Taking Care of Business.” Be blown away by this poignant and moving performance steeped in social commentary. The play will be shown free and open to the public.

About the play:

Taking Care of Business looks at the life of Eddie, who on the surface lives a normal life. He runs a local electronics store, provides for his mother and younger brother, and takes one day at a time. But the voices in Eddie’s head are tearing him apart. And when back-door criminal activity puts him in danger, and a neighborhood thug offers a new opportunity, Eddie must decide if it’s time to reinvent himself or resurrect an old self that knows how to survive…
