Did you know the biggest reason people don’t winterize their homes is because of cost or they can’t justify the payback? With Ohio SB232 now passed, communities are setting up PACE programs (Property Assessed Clean Energy) so people can finance the cost of the improvements through “opt-in” property tax assessments. Featuring Laura Steinbrink and the staff of Humanity’s Loom, this town hall focuses on continuing regional development of sustainable living practices, specifically winterizing and weatherizing of homes and living spaces in our region.
