The Poultry Project’s 2010 Chicken Coop Design Competition Exhibition

Fri 11/26 @ 2 – 7PM

The Poultry Project aims to empower HIV/AIDS-affected children in Uganda by giving them a means of income — poultry farming. The organization recently held a Chicken Coop Design Competition to find the best, most resourceful way to house chickens. The winning design will be modified for use by farmers in Uganda.

See over 60 chicken coop designs from around the world and hear the winning design announced at The Poultry Project’s 2010 Chicken Coop Design Competition Exhibition @ Wooltex Gallery on Fri 11/26. The judges are made up of locavores and urban farmers. Music, local food, design and a good cause — what more do you need?
