Charlie, spoiled Veruca Salt, gum-addicted Violet, those mysterious Oompa Loompas and all your other favorite characters from Roald Dahl’s classic cautionary tale of greed, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, will be onstage in Near West Theatre’s performance of Willy Wonka, opening on Fri 11/19. It’s a “frothy, thoughtful blend of scary and fun for children and adults.” A complete classic.
