Not into traditional festive events? Then check out A Holiday Art Massacre on Waterloo, one of the season’s strongest group art exhibits featuring work by Cle’s most innovative and provocative artists: Derek Hess, Dana Depew, Scott Pickering, John Howitt, Dot Schneider, Clay Parker, Greg Ruffing, Adam Dumont, The Sign Guy and John G.
“This exhibition provides a rather mordant view of the holiday season so it’s a bit more Bukowski than Dickens,” says curator Heather Young.
Also: Local author Rafeek Washington will discuss his new book, The Further Adventures of Gentleman Richards, a Sequel to the novella HUEbris at 7pm. Music by Filmstrip and Megachurch at 9PM.
The Massacre opens on Sat 12/11 but you can also check out the exhibit on Sun 12/12, Sat 12/18 and Sun 12/19.
