Local film to premiere at 2011 Sundance Film Festival

Here’s a local film that’s making it big:

Film producer Tyler Davidson, a Northeast Ohio native and resident, announced that his new feature film, Take Shelter – shot one-hundred percent in the Cleveland area this past summer – will have its world premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, held January 20-30 in Park City, Utah.  The film will be included in the prestigious U.S. Dramatic Competition section, in which only 16 films of this year’s nearly 2,000 U.S. feature film submissions were invited.  On the whole, including short films and documentaries, Sundance received more than 10,000 film submissions this year, an all-time record for the festival.

How cool. Read more about the film here: http://ClevelandFilm.com/blog2/?p=792.
