Uptowne Buddha is a live instrumentation hip-hop outfit that blends lyrical bliss and a groovin’ flow with funky, soulful rhythm and blues music. With the incorporation of guitars, saxophones, and live percussion, they are aiming to do something different than the majority of hip-hop artists in Cleveland. This group of local musicians is bound to move you; like they say: its “Straight out tha suburbs, bringin’ you da jams.” Kicking off the night will be local hip-hop artist Jali, then Athens, Ohio’s favorite on-the-rise rapper CG, followed by hip-hop extraordinaire Eric Little, and finally Uptowne Buddha.
