What if there were a medicine that prevented illness and disease, helped you lose weight, gave you energy and a better mood, slowed the aging process, and had almost no negative side effects? In fact, this “medicine” is already available to everyone, free of charge—it’s being active! Get up and get moving to Let’s Get Active!

Let’s Get Active features dynamic hands-on components where visitors learn how to reduce their computer and television time, prevent disease, and burn as many calories doing everyday activities, such as mowing the lawn and cleaning the house, as playing sports. Visitors can try an electronic jump game to see how jumping builds bone for life, step on a balance board and learn why good balance is important for people of all ages, and test their strength and compare the results to national averages.
