
Civic Economics and the American Booksellers Association released the Indie City Index, which compares the strength of independent retailers by metro area. Each metropolitan area got its own score. So, of the 363 areas listed, how well did Cle do? Apparently, not too well. Cleveland ranked 356th, earning the lowest score among metropolitan areas with populations between 1 and 3 million. Are we not indie enough?
