United Way needs your help! Their 211 line, which connects people to services in the community, is more popular than ever, with the number of calls up 11 percent since last year. Help them meet the tremendous need that exists in the community. Their goal is to raise $40.1 million. Right now they’re $1 million short of the goal. Won’t you help?
United Way of Greater Cleveland needs YOU to help more than 450,000 Greater Cleveland residents this year. Our community’s need for health and human services has increased over the last year as demonstrated by calls to United Way’s 211 referral line. The number of calls for help jumped 11 percent in the past year, reaching an all-time high of 230,000. These calls represent people calling from the city and suburbs. They are facing foreclosure on their homes, needing assistance to pay their utility bills, and wondering how to cope with the stress these problems put on family members.
