Sat 3/19 @ 6PM
Cleveland’s coolest converge @ The Pop Shop/(art)ificial Gallery on Sat 3/19 for — not one — but TWO shows: The Vinyl Takeover (@ (art)ificial) and The Monkey Bars Party (@ Pop Shop).
About the two shows:
A rising new dimension of art has been rapidly infiltrating the art scene. The Artist’s creations on designer toys have expand the definition of a ‘toy’ from far beyond something that kids play with and outgrow. The customization of vinyl toys will take over the (art)ificial gallery on March 19th, from 6-9pm in a show entitled The Vinyl Takeover.
If toys weren’t fun enough for the kid in you, what about adding a barrel of monkeys in to the mix? Entertaining guests in the Pop Shop gallery coinciding with The Vinyl Takeover will be The Monkey Bars Party. The Monkey Bars Party will send you swinging as it entertains all in the Pop Shops March exhibition. This is a group show that will have 1% of the sophistication of highly intellectual art show and 99% of the political antics that occur around a playground at any given elementary school.
Be there or be talked about on the monkey bars.
