Book clubs don’t get any more casual than Learned Owl Book Shop’s monthly Book Club in a Bar. This month’s pick is Elizabeth Street by Laurie Fabiano.
Scoop: “This informal gathering is perfect for people who’d like to be in a book club, but just don’t want to commit to doing something every month. The friendly group allows people to participate as much or as little as they like. If you haven’t finished the book, or want to bring a friend who hasn’t, never fear – there won’t be a quiz.”
