Weekends from Fri 6/17 – Sun 8/7
Need some Shakespeare in your life? The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is here. Hurrah! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to select parks in NEO and watch performances of Othello and Love’s Labour Lost. It’s Cle’s only source for FREE, outdoor Shakespeare.
Read on for details: “Othello opens Fri 6/17 and Sat 6/18. Othello is Shakespeare’s classic tragedy of ambition, betrayal, jealousy, and love. Love’s Labour’s Lost opens the following weekend, Fri 6/24 and Sat 6/25. This is not the play you’re expecting to see! A very unique re-telling of the Bard’s classic romantic comedy, this radically abridged and gender reversed adaptation is not for the purist – but not to be missed. Both shows will continue in repertory on Saturdays and Sundays at various outdoor locations throughout Northeast Ohio.”
