Info: “Ohio Chautauqua is a traveling show that presents history in the compelling form of first person historical characterizations. Its first stop during Summer 2011 is Lakewood, which will host five humanities scholars-in-residence for five days. During this time, the scholars will interact with the public as themselves and as their chosen historical figure.
“Each scholar will present two daytime workshops: a youth program hosted at the Beck Center (17801 Detroit Avenue) in the morning and an adult program hosted at the Lakewood Public Library (15425 Detroit Avenue) in the afternoon.”
