Should Lakewood allow backyard hens? Currently, Cleveland allows residents to keep chickens — but not Lakewood. A group of citizens want to overturn this rule, saying that the ability to keep chickens increases profit to local businesses, decreases pesky insects and is vital to the local food movement and self-sustainability. (After all, egg factory farms are horrendous… to put it lightly.)
