brothers & sisters
even as the nights get longer
the cats on holiday vibe gets stronger,
and you can hear the party at brothers lounge,
where the men are smiling,
the women beguiling,
laughing and dancing,
drinking and romancing,
catching your attention
like a hawk
on the horizon,
or a train whistle on the evening wind,
tugging at your coat
like an age old
friend,
and warming you,
like a good scarf,
a hot coffee,
time on the dance floor,
and a generous pour…
