Seeking Artists To Collaborate on Project Gilgamesh

You can win up to $250 and an 8-hour recording session. Or a professional photo shoot. Or an entertainment career consultation.

But the best reward might be the opportunity to work with DBR, Daniel Bernard Roumain, the acclaimed composer and violinist who has been tearing it up in residency over the past year at Tri-C. With Cleveland writer Margaret Lynch, DBR has written and uploaded his music for Project Gilgamesh, based on The Epic of Gilgamesh, the superhero from Mesopotamia.

You can download the MP3s and music from his Songbook, and post your own interpretations on YouTube. The most creative submissions will be selected to collaborate with DBR at his next performance of Songbook Unbound II on Thu 4/5.

But you have to get your videos uploaded by Fri 2/24 to be eligible for the cool prizes and the chance to collaborate and perform.
