The Lakeland Community College Jazz Festival has been around 40 years — quite an accomplishment. The venerable festival returns Fri 2/24 – Sun 2/26 for a weekend of jazz education community and concerts featuring the Yellowjackets [pictured], a big band matinee featuring the Lakeland Civic Jazz Orchestra and the Dave Banks Big Band, plus Dave Morgan will present his composition “The Way of the Sly Man” w/ a large ensemble comprised of the region’s top jazz artists.
