In the mood for a good ol’ fashioned fairy tale presented in opera form? CIM’s got you covered w/ their production of Hänsel & Gretel by composer Englebert Humperdinck: “This magical version of the Grimm fairy tale thrills children with visions of sweets and mystical creatures and delights adults with its beautiful and sophisticated score. CIM will present this masterpiece in grand style – telling the tale of how a courageous brother and sister defeat a wonderfully wicked witch. With the blessing of 14 protective angels, good triumphs over evil.”
“Sung in German, a projected translation ensures you won’t miss a minute of the drama and humor of this well-loved story.”
