The 2012 PechaKucha Cleveland season is here! Due to its overwhelming popularity, PechaKucha Night will now be hosted in the Main Music Room @ the House of Blues (rather than the Cambridge Room of past years).
Read on if you’re asking, “What is PechaKucha?”:
“PechaKucha, Japanese for ‘the sound of conversation,’ features a succession of 14 designers, each explaining their work, ideas, and obsessions around art, fashion, food, life, architecture, film, furniture, music, community, and photography through a six-minute presentation (20 slides X 20 seconds per slide). The rapid-fire style keeps audiences engaged while breaking down barriers between different design communities. The goal is to expose and attract new talent and ideas, foster existing creatives that may not have a platform to show their work, and incite meaningful collaborations among presenters and audience members.”
