Food is the obvious choice to donate to the less fortunate. But, food is by far the only thing homeless people or people living in shelters need. They need something people rarely think of donating… unmentionables. Women in shelters need tampons, pads and other hygienic products. Often shelters don’t provide these and certainly these necessities aren’t covered by food stamps.
T2P2+B2 wants to help. This event aims to collect and distribute feminine hygiene products and boxer and briefs to local shelters. Each attendee is required to bring one “unmentionable” to join the party, which includes a night of music from Anne E. Dechant and plenty of food and drink.
Note: As of midnight Wed 3/7 tickets can only be purchased at the door for $60.
