A new children’s theater is popping up in Detroit-Shoreway — Talespinner Children’s Theatre — which hopes to stir the imaginations of all kids (no matter the socioeconomic background) with quality theater and interactive classes. Learn about this cool new theater at the Talespinner Children’s Theatre Open House on Fri 3/23 and Sat 3/24 and get ready for 2012’s upcoming productions: The Tale of the Name of the Tree, a Bantu Tale runs June 16 – July 8 and Magic Flute, an Adaptation will be onstage December 1 – 23.
