Get a taste of extreme adventure @ the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, returning to PlayhouseSquare Fri 4/13 and Sat 4/14. Each night features different films taking you to the most exotic locations imaginable.
Movies include On the Trail of Genghis Khan: The Last Frontier — a documentary about Australian Tim Cope who, with his band of horses and his dog, travel overland 10,000 km from Mongolia to Hungary; C.A.R.C.A. — “One man’s quest to revolutionize the world of animal avalanche rescue”; Journey on the Wild Coast — detailing a young couple’s attempt to walk, paddle and ski from Seattle to the Aleutians; plus more.
Both nights include reception w/ food, drink and local vendors… and special guest Dan Austin.
