About Katrina: “My dad was a tattooist in the ’70s, I grew up with those images as the norm. He was also an avid collector of artifacts such as taxidermy, bones, skulls, birds eggs etc. along with all of that he had a tropical fish and reptile shop. He was forever bringing injured animals home to try to heal. Because of this I have a massive love for animals, the wonderful images I grew up with and laughter. I fuse this with religious iconography, day of the dead and kitsch; I think that is where my head is. Laugh, love and kiss a pony!”
