Imagination, self exploration and creativity converge beautifully within Project Gilgamesh. Let’s get you up to speed: NY-based composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) wrote and recorded a songbook about Gilgamesh, a super hero from ancient Mesopotamia, mixed with the people of Cleveland. This songbook was then the basis for local creative types to use to create new art/music. The creatives submitted their work to DBR & Co, who then picked the best ones to showcase to a live audience, which you’ll hear on Thu 4/5.
Project Gilgamesh II features performances by Tri-C students, faculty and community hosted by DBR. It’s super cool.
