CIM@Severance is Sold Out: View Photos & Video
Each year, the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra mounts the stage at the venerable Severance Hall for a free concert presented for the benefit of the community. This year, the concert hall will be full to the brim for their concert on Wed 4/18 at 8PM.
Grammy-winning violinist and conductor & CIM President Joel Smirnoff will conduct the CIM Orchestra in a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 in C minor, “Resurrection,” in collaboration with Cleveland School of the Arts Instrumentalists and Chorus, directed by Dr. William B. Woods, and the Singers Club of Cleveland, directed by Dr. Melvin Unger, along with members of Antioch Baptist Church Choirs and soloists Kisma Jordan, sporano, and Samantha Renea Gossard, mezzo-soprano.
