The Art Song Festival is coming to Baldwin-Wallace College. This week-long festival “focuses on the unique relationship between singer and pianist in the performance of art song repertoire.”
“Begun in 1985 by Artistic Director George Vassos, the Art Song Festival, now in its 21st Anniversary Season, brings international concert artists and stars of the operatic stage to northeast Ohio to provide the public with the opportunity to hear world renowned artists in recital and master classes.
“Ten pre- professional singer/pianist teams chosen through national auditions come to Berea for a week of intensive coaching in performance of this extraordinarily rewarding repertoire. Our four guest artists offer master classes and recitals throughout the week, culminating in a recital by the ten teams on the final night of the Festival.”
