Wanna have a pleasant Mother’s Day? Go bird-watching. The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is hosting the Second Annual Mother’s Day Family Bird Hike.
The scoop: “Experience spring migration in its full glory. Moms will appreciate the lengths some parents go to care for their offspring. (Fly 6,000 miles? Wow!) We’ll also look for breeding birds with nests underway. A limited number of binoculars are available first-come, first-served. All ages welcome. Free.”
