Progressive Ghost Hunt at The Kent Stage

With a spooky history, including one worker who died at the theatre, The Kent Stage has experienced varying levels of paranormal activity for the ten years that the building has hosted the venerable music venue. Resident Doug Hite, who has lived above the theatre for over a year says, “I’d like to think the ghost is friendly. I think she just wants to have a good time. Sometimes she turns on the TV and then flips it right back off.”

Experienced or beginning ghost hunters are welcome to join the Spiritual Insight Ghost Hunting Team (SIGHT) of Ohio as they host the Kent Progressive Ghost Hunt on Sat 6/30 from 9PM to 3AM. Start off the evening at Pufferbelly Restaurant for dessert and a short tour (their building has it’s own stories of ghosts), then walk up Kent’s charming Main Street to The Kent Stage for the main event. You can bring your own cameras and equipment, but SIGHT of Ohio will be supplying professional ghost hunting equipment for the evening.

The Kent Stage has hosted over 150 shows a year over it’s storied history, featuring Grammy-winning artists who bring their own spirits to our region. Just check out this short list of some upcoming shows:
