Tremont Electric, creators of the super-cool nPower Peg, could use some small donations and some support for their project on Indiegogo.com: Mobile Power for Crisis Mappers.
Their nPower Peg is clipped on your backpack and generates enough electricity to power your mobile device, just by you walking around. If their Indiegogo project gets funded, TE will be “giving people without access to electricity in crisis situations the ability to generate their own mobile power with nPower PEG. The PEG will keep their cell phones charged, allowing them to communicate critical info (i.e. where to get food/water/shelter, medical care, escape routes, etc.) via social media and through the CrisisMappers.net network.”
One cool company with a worthy cause. Let some support to make it happen: http://www.indiegogo.com/npowerpegcrisismappers.
