Lakewood now has its own Ohio Idol champion. Recent Lakewood High School graduate Abby Boland won the inaugural Ohio Idol competition along with $10,000 and a recording contract. You can hear her sing the National Anthem at the Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees baseball game on 8/24.
Boland was planning to move directly to New York to develop her own music composition and break into acting on Broadway. Now she’ll relocate to Columbus to spend a year touring as the face of Ohio Idol. Congratulations to Abby, and we’ll stay tuned as she pursues her dreams.
