A band formed during the civil war in Sierra Leone, Sierra Leone Refugee All-Stars (SLR) is a reggae rock band that has partnered with the World Food Program USA to raise awareness of the problems plaguing Africa — mainly hunger. The band’s lighthearted live shows usually involve dancing and plenty of energy.
Where are they playing? They are playing at Nighttown Jazz Club on Cedar Rd. in Cleveland Hts. It is an all-ages show, and ticket prices start at $25 dollars. So come get into the groove and help raise awareness.
