Soundbites, attack ads and pack journalism. These topics will be the focus of the educational event open to the public at Kent State’s FirstEnergy Auditorium in Franklin Hall this Thursday. Nationally recognized media and political experts will be there — including Connie Schultz, Greg Korte and Mark Naymik — and political advocates from any background are welcome.
Free for students. $20 dollars for educators, and $25 dollars for media and professionals. This discussion panel will open to your eyes to the dirty underbelly of politics, and what we need to do in order to stay on top of the truth behind all of the scrutiny.
