The Next New Thing Challenge features handpicked subject matter experts, community leaders and investors who want to hear your cool ideas. It’s hosted by Bizdom, the brain child of Cavaliers and QuickenLoans owner Dan Gilbert, who’s kickstarted dozens of cool startups.
Got an idea? Send an email to clevelandinfo@bizdom.com with a short paragraph on your idea, and you’ll have a chance to selected to participate on Tue 10/2 from 6-8PM at Bizdom’s new cool HQ in Tower City Center. You must be selected as a participant to attend!
This month we’re exploring ideas that can fundamentally change the environment in Cleveland in a big way. Think about ways to dramatically improve schools, create more jobs, attract more entrepreneurs, improve nightlight and daylife, bring communities together, beautify the streets, distinguish the City as a national treasure, play to our strengths, increase tourism, and so on. Think about small business opportunities, big business opportunities, nonprofit opportunities. Get creative. Get crazy. Shake things up. Change the game! The sky’s the limit.
You’ll also get 2 hours of Bizdom coaching, and you may be invited to present your idea to the Bizdom Seed Funding Committee for a chance to participate in the Bizdom Accelerator. If your business flies, you could be flying high yourself!
