Learn about cider. The Downtown Innovative Community Event organization of Kent is hosting the 9th annual Cider Festival in the Hometown Bank Plaza on the corner of Main and Water St. There will be hot cider for purchase from Beckwith’s Orchards, an old fashion cider press demonstration, activities for children, music and local businesses ready to serve.
The event is free. This event is just one of the series of events that D.I.C.E. is putting on for the city of Kent, and all are free to the public. If you can’t make it to this event, make sure that you stop in to D.I.C.E.’s Ice Carving Competition in February.
